Meet Tanya Seaman, an American environmentalist and the co-founder of the nonprofit carsharing organization PhillyCarShare. Her nonprofit has set waves for the environmental sector and works in conjunction with the City of Philadelphia to serve its city workers. She earned her Masters in City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania, and tries to limit her carbon footprint by not owning a car and eating a vegan diet. In this interview, we talk about the highs and lows of her career, where she foresees sustainability heading in the future, and how the younger generation can spearhead these efforts.
